As if the 140-run pounding was not bad enough, Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik was on Wednesday fined 20 per cent of his match fee, and his teammates docked 10 per cent for slow over-rate against India in the ongoing tri-series. ICC Match Referee Jeff Crowe imposed the fine after Pakistan were found two overs short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration.
